With more than 15 years of experience leading marketing strategy and brand development for architecture and design firms across the Washington, DC region, Amy brings a fresh perspective, proven leadership, and a results-driven approach to this vital role.

As Wilmot Sanz continues to grow and evolve as a national leader in healthcare architecture, Amy will lead efforts to elevate the firm’s visibility, amplify our voice in the industry, and deepen engagement with our clients, partners, and communities.

Amy joins Wilmot Sanz with an impressive background in marketing, communications, and business development for design firms working across residential, government, and higher education markets. Her portfolio of experience spans everything from digital strategy and proposal development to internal communications, public relations, event planning, budgeting, and operations.

What sets Amy apart is her strategic mindset and adaptability—a rare blend of analytical thinking and creative storytelling. She thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments and is known for her ability to distill complex ideas into clear, compelling messages that resonate with diverse audiences.

A Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM), Amy is deeply committed to raising the bar for marketing in the AEC industry. Over the past decade, she has held a variety of leadership roles within the Washington, DC Chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS)—including her current role as Chapter President.

As a speaker, mentor, and networking facilitator, Amy regularly shares her insights on marketing strategy, leadership, and communications best practices with the broader design and construction community.

Whether guiding firms through rebrands, launching new business development campaigns, or crafting stories that celebrate design excellence, Amy brings clarity, confidence, and contagious enthusiasm to every initiative she leads.

Beyond the Studio: A Commitment to Community

Outside of her professional life, Amy is also a passionate volunteer and community advocate. She regularly donates her time and energy to organizations such as the American Heart Association and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, supporting causes that align with her values of empathy, advocacy, and meaningful impact.
