At Wilmot Sanz, we believe that great design begins with great people—and that our strength as a firm comes from the diverse experiences, passions, and perspectives of our team.
This season, we’re thrilled to welcome three new designers—Damian Trostinetzky, Rafael Sanabia, and Hannah Grabill—each bringing their own story, expertise, and creativity to the future of healthcare design.
As our firm continues to grow, so does our ability to serve our clients with depth, innovation, and excellence. These new additions embody what makes Wilmot Sanz thrive: curiosity, collaboration, and a shared commitment to shaping environments that truly care for people.

With decades of architectural experience across multiple market sectors, Damian Trostinetzky joins Wilmot Sanz ready to return to his first love—healthcare design.
Originally from Argentina, with additional studies in Israel, Damian has always been drawn to the intersection of art, structure, and human experience. Inspired by his father’s engineering career, he first considered a path in engineering before realizing architecture offered something even more compelling: a balance of creativity and problem-solving.
“Healthcare buildings are incredibly complex,” Damian shares. “Every element has to perform—individually and as part of a larger system. I love being part of that intricate puzzle.”
At Wilmot Sanz, Damian will bring his technical expertise and collaborative mindset to projects ranging from renovations and fit-outs to new construction, contributing thoughtful design solutions that serve patients, staff, and communities alike.

A Maryland native and University of Maryland graduate, Rafael Sanabia joins Wilmot Sanz eager to begin his professional journey in healthcare architecture. His passion for community-oriented design has guided his academic and early professional experiences—and ultimately led him to healthcare, where design’s impact is both immediate and profound.
Rafael’s interest deepened during an internship with the National Institutes of Health, where he witnessed firsthand how healthcare spaces support well-being, dignity, and connection.
“Seeing how design could directly improve someone’s care experience made it clear this was where I wanted to be,” he says.
Now part of our growing design studio, Rafael is ready to immerse himself in every stage of project delivery—from concept to construction—while pursuing licensure and developing a strong foundation in healthcare design. His enthusiasm for learning, teamwork, and purpose-driven design makes him a natural fit for the Wilmot Sanz culture.

Rounding out this season’s new additions, Hannah Grabill brings an artistic eye, research-driven thinking, and a deep interest in the intersection of sustainability and healthcare.
A two-time graduate of the University of Maryland, with both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Architecture and a Minor in Sustainability, Hannah’s design journey began with a love for painting, drawing, and the joy of creating.
Her graduate thesis focused on how thoughtful design can support patients and families through serious illness, with an emphasis on aging facilities and repurposed cancer care environments. The work combined empathy and technical rigor—two qualities that continue to define her approach.
Beyond the studio, Hannah is an explorer at heart. Whether traveling to new places, photographing the world around her, or trying new cuisines, she brings the same curiosity and enthusiasm that fuel her design work.
“I’ve always been fascinated by how spaces can influence emotion,” she says. “Healthcare design gives me the chance to create environments that bring comfort and hope to people when they need it most.”
